    PATH 02

    Already have a logo?

We review your existing files and develop guidelines to help your team use the identity consistently. If the logo needs reconstruction or redesign, we’ll explain the additional scope before work begins.

      Refine

You appoint one approver and share consolidated feedback within the agreed revision rounds.

    5. 05

      Approve and hand off

Make it easy to use well

    Good identity work travels.

The guide is shaped around your approved logo, actual assets, and the places your team plans to use them.

    Do
    • Use approved logo versions and colors.
    • Preserve the spacing and minimum size specified for your identity.
    • Choose a version that remains clear on its background.
    • Follow the agreed fonts and hierarchy.
    • Use vector or raster files suited to the application.
    Avoid
    • Stretching, skewing, rotating, or recoloring the logo.
    • Crowding it or shrinking it until details disappear.
    • Placing it where imagery or color obscures it.
    • Substituting fonts or adding unapproved effects.
    • Enlarging screenshots or low-resolution logo images.

    Good to know

    A few useful answers.

Can you work with a logo I already have?

Yes. We can review your existing logo files and develop guidance for using them consistently. If the artwork needs reconstruction or redesign, we’ll explain that additional scope before work begins.

What’s the difference between an identity sheet and an expanded guide?

A one-page identity sheet is a concise visual reference for the logo, its major variations, fonts, and colors. The six-page expanded guide can include usage guidance, typography, visual direction, and illustrated do’s and don’ts. Your proposal will say which format is included.

    How do revisions work?

Three revision rounds are listed in the service materials. Your proposal will confirm which deliverables they cover. New directions or work beyond the agreed scope are discussed and estimated before proceeding.

    Which files will I receive?

For a new logo, approved exports can include SVG, EPS, AI, and PNG, as agreed in the project scope. Existing-logo projects depend on the files you have; a raster image does not automatically become editable vector artwork. We’ll review file needs together.

Are stationery and social media assets included?

Business card and letterhead design, profile imagery, banners, and post or story backgrounds can be scoped when they’re useful. Quantities, formats, and whether assets are editable are confirmed in your proposal.

Can you apply the identity to my website?

Yes, website design and development can be scoped separately through Digital Development. A brand identity project creates the visual foundation; website implementation is not automatically included.

Is printing or ongoing social media management included?

The service focuses on design assets and guidance. Printing, shipping, and ongoing social media or campaign management are not included unless they are explicitly added to an agreed scope.

Does this include full brand strategy or trademark services?

A visual identity guide is not a full brand strategy engagement. Trademark clearance, registration, and guaranteed exclusivity are not included; ownership and licensing terms are confirmed separately.

How long will the project take?

We confirm a schedule after reviewing the scope and inputs. Timing depends on complete materials and timely approvals, so we don’t publish a one-size-fits-all turnaround.

    Will I receive editable files?

Your proposal will name the included export and source formats, the applications needed to edit them, and whether guide source files or editable templates are included. Not every exported file is an editable template.

    Part of a bigger picture

Identity sets the direction. Your digital presence carries it forward.

Digital Development can bring the identity to your website. Growth Marketing can help plan how your business communicates across channels. Each is a separately scoped service.
